Why everyone should be an Organ Donor

Should everyone be an Organ Donor? Simply yes they should as it helps those who are in need of a transplant .It can go towards science to help us better understand the human body. Also the effects of what will end up happening to the organ if it isn’t used for transplants or science and is left with the owner’s body.

If everyone was an organ donor the organ would do the greatest help of saving someone’s life by a transplant. A transplant is where someone that has died and is an Organ Donor will have their organs removed so that they can be used in case someone’s organ is shutting down. The donor’s organs such as the heart, lungs liver and kidneys can replace one of your organs if they are not working efficiently or are about to give out. In most cases the donor is really saving someone’s life. In my opinion this is by far the most effective way to use a donor’s organs.

A donor’s organ that is not needed for a transplant would be of great significance to science. A scientist would be able to analyse and compare different donor’s organs which would help them understand how the organ is made-up by taking samples of the organs tissue. In tern the scientists aren’t only learning how the organ effectively works and the make-up of it but it also helps us all understand more about the human body just that we bit better. Personally if there’s no need for the organ to be used for a transplant it would be of great significance to helping us understand more about the human body.

When someone has died their organs will soon die with them. If the person decides not to be a donor and dies their organs will shut down soon after the brain and will be of no use. A person only has only one single or set of organs and those who decide to be a donor will be saving someone’s life while those that are deceased decide  to keep their organs will just be rotting them away with their body when those organs could have saved someone’s life.

So everyone should be an organ donor as it can be used for transplants which can save someone’s life. It could be used for science and help us better understand our organs and the human body. Also theirs no need for us to have our organs once were dead as they’ll just rot away and be of no use to anybody. So personally because of these reasons everyone should be an organ donor.
